Developer Options is a hidden menu in Android that unlocks advanced settings for developers and power users, including USB debugging, OEM unlocking, and animation speed controls.

Enable Developer Options

Go to Settings > About Phone > Build Number and tap it 7 times rapidly. You will see a toast message saying "You are now a developer."

Enable USB Debugging

Go to Settings > Developer Options and toggle USB Debugging on. This allows ADB communication over USB.

  • OEM Unlocking — required for bootloader unlock
  • Show CPU Usage — overlay on screen
  • Force GPU Rendering
